The Battle for California Continues
SENATE BILL 270
On January 20th, 2015 in an overwhelming 6-1 vote, the city council of Huntington Beach directed the city staff to begin the process of repealing a policy that bans the use of plastic grocery bags, and requires grocery stores to charge a ten-cent fee on paper bags.
More jurisdictions across America and around the world are regulating plastic as it has become the most dangerous pollutant in our oceans.
